Visit our project craft shops; one is inside Rushaga gorilla Lodge and another one is at the project offices, buy an item for as low as 1 US dollar and above.
Orphanage center visit 20$ per person; listen to stories how these children became orphans and learn how they live and cope up with life in an orphanage.

Community School visit 20$ per person; learn how the children study and interact with each other in a school environment, enjoy performances from the children.

Community walk 20$ per person: You will interact with Bakiga and Batwa, learn about their culture, history, craft making, their traditional ways of farming and lots of traditional performances among others.
 
Guided Forest walks to the Bayenda Falls, and hikes 70$ person; you will get up close and personal with different animals, primates, view variety of bird species, plant and tree species, colorful butterflies, three horned chameleon, enjoy the cool breeze, listen to cool sounds of bird species.
 

Batwa culture experience 35$ per person; you will be able to interact with the Bwata/pygmies who used to live in the forest before it was gazetted as a nation park in 1991. You will learn about their history, hunting and gathering skills, how to make fire with sticks, and a lot of their traditional performances among others.

Community visit 30$ per person; you will experience local
coffee processing and testing, interact with a traditional
healer who uses herbs to treat many diseases, tea plantation and harvest, with performances from community women.
Bird watching 50$ per person; Rushaga has over 350 bird species, and with our experienced bird guide, you will be able to spot different bird species like African green broadbill, handsome francolin, black bee eater, dusky twinspot, Giant kingfisher, yellow eyed black flycatcher, purple breasted sun bird among others.
 
Local food preparation and testing 30$ per person; you will learn how Bakiga prepare food and how it is served. The local Bakiga people practice subsistence farming on crops like irish potatoes, sweet potatoes, bananas, maize, beans, peas and
sorghum to get food and sell part of the produce to get other requirements for the house hold like a bar of soap, a packet of salt, books and pens for the school going children. However, the Batwa/Pygmies failed to cope up with the traditional Bakiga ways of life, of course as indigenous people more is still required for their welfare.
